ROHN CPC1/1.25 Grounding Clamp for 25G 45G Section Fixed Rigid Base Connection
For Ground Connection to 25G and 45G Fixed Rigid Base and Main Tower Sections at a Tubular Rail (0.75 to 1.70 inch OD range). Lug connects to Solid/Stranded Copper or Woven Rope ground wire utilized in BGK3GGX REV. G Grounding Kits (not included).

Note: Made to connect to any of the three Leg Rail components of a 25G and 45G Main Tower or Fixed Rigid Base Sections in a Typical Tower Installation as these Tubes are within the nominal OD range above. This Clamp will also connect the Solid or Stranded Copper Ground Wire lead to the Ground Rod on the other end, completing your Grounding (Lightning Protection) System. Typically, 3 of these Clamps are used as most Systems will dictate that a separate Ground Connection be made to all three Tower Rail Tubes.

Commensurate with Coaxial Cable TV Antenna and Satellite TV Splitter Installation, you want to Ground your Cable TV or HDTV Antenna Coaxial Cable System Outside before bringing the TV Cable Inside. This way, Lightning Strikes and Power Surges have an opportunity to arrest before reaching your Satellite Receiver and TV Set(s). The Integral Grounding Block designed onto most Outdoor Use Compatible Satellite Signal Splitter we sell will effectively convey this unwanted Electrical Energy to a Ground Rod via a Copper Ground Wire that you Install (not included). Consult your Local Building Code and NEC for guidance to Properly Grounding your HD TV Antenna, Satellite TV, Cable TV, WI-FI, Wireless Internet, Business Band, CB or Amateur Radio Antenna Installation.

Ground Blocks and Proper Grounding are an Important, often over-looked, aspect of Your Over-all Cable TV, HDTV or Satellite Antenna Installation and Safety. Proper Grounding can also Reduce both Reception and Emination of Inferfering RF Signals. Grounding of Masts, Antennas, Cable TV and other RF Distribution Systems are covered by the NEC. Grounding can be as simple as a 12 AWG Ground Wire connected a short distance away to a 8 foot 5/8" DIA Copper Ground Rod (not supplied) or Bonded to the Existing Power Ground by the Power Meter installed on the side of your Home or Office. You may notice that most new Cable TV, Satellite and TV Antenna Installations are effected in this Manner. However, most State and some Local codes will contain requirements that supercede that of the NEC. Please Refer to Your Local Building and Electrical Codes...
