ROHN 45AG 9 Foot (2.00 inch Outside Diameter) Tower Top Cap Section
consists of 14 gauge walls with 4 bays of bracing and swaged, double-bolted connections. The Pinnacle of this Section is Capped with a 16 AWG Tube (2.00 inches O.D./1.87 inches I.D.), protruding 12 inches above apex of side rails. This Rohn section is one that can be used to top off the 45G tower. The 45AG is available in the standard 9 foot section length. This tower uses double bolted joints which are proven to be the best method of joining tower sections for sturdiness and dependability. Featuring a 16 3/4 inch equilateral triangular design, the 45AG is constructed of extra heavy duty 1-1/4" steel tubing side rails with continuous solid steel rod bracing. Each 9' section is shipped containing all required nuts and bolts attached to one leg. The 45G tower can be used guyed, self-supporting or bracketed configurations according to specifications in the ROHN catalog. As a guyed structure, it can rise to a maximum of 300 feet. The 2.00 inch Outside Diameter Mast Tube at the Pinnacle of the Rohn 45AG Top Cap Section means approx. 1-13/16 inch Inside Diameter. Both Top and Bottom end of the Tube is free of attachments, but can have the ROHN TB50 (1.25 inch Inside Diameter) or TB75 (1.50 inch Inside Diameter) peened in to float in and complete your 1.25 inch Outside Diameter or 1.50 inch Outside Diameter Antenna Mast installation onto the R-25AG.
