Preformed BG2148 Big Grip Pre-Formed Deadends

Made for use with 7/16 inch EHS Galvanized Strand. These Preformed Big Grips are designed for use with ROHN 7/16 inch Strand guy wire. Used for Down Guying the ROHN 45G 55G 65G Towers. It's Economical and has 20,800 lbs breaking strength. These Big Grips are pre-formed and easy to use with 9/16 Heavy Open Eye Thimbles (Part Number R-9/16THH is a Separate Item)

Tower Guy Wire Tension Guide

The recommended initial tension in guy wires is 10% of their ultimate tensile strength. There are two different grades of steel used for good guy line (clothes line does not count), HS (high strength) and EHS (extra high strength). The Rohn manual gives the following info on 3/16 and 1/4 in cable.
