Description

ASKA TV2G-3 3-Way Power Passing Wide-Band Satellite TV 2 GHz Horizontal F Port Splitter
All ports Power passive and Equal Loss at Wideband, ideal for Satellite DBS installation. Able to split or combine signals on cable carrying both UHF/VHF/FM or Cable TV
signals (40-860 MHz)  and satellite IF signals (950-2050 MHz). Features attached Grounding Block,  tongue & groove cases for 130 dB RF shielding.

When Splitting the High Frequencies of Satellite TV Services to feed multiple Receivers, the Loss associated with the splitter may need to be compensated for with the use of an In-Line Satellite Drop Amplifier specific to this purpose and Frequency Range. Consider the need and review the "Satellite TV Amplifier" category for selection.

Also the issue of supplying Voltage back to the LNB(F) may be addressed more resolutely with the installation of a Power Supply and Power Inserter specific to the purpose. Consider the need and review the "DC Power Inserter" category for selection.

Commensurate with Coaxial Cable TV Antenna and Satellite TV Power Inserter Installation, you want to Ground your Cable TV or HDTV Antenna Coaxial Cable System Outside before bringing the TV Cable Inside. This way, Lightning Strikes and Power Surges have an opportunity to arrest before reaching your Satellite Receiver and TV Set(s). The Integral Grounding Block designed onto most Outdoor Use Compatible Satellite Signal Splitter we sell will effectively convey this unwanted Electrical Energy to a Ground Rod via a Copper Ground Wire that you Install (not included). Consult your Local Building Code and NEC for guidance to Properly Grounding your HD TV Antenna, Satellite TV, Cable TV, WI-FI, Wireless Internet, Business Band, CB or Amateur Radio Antenna Installation.

Antenna Mounts/ Masts
Antenna Masts, Wall Mounts, Roof Mounts and Mounting Accessories It is Important to choose a Mount and Mounting Location with a Picture of the Finished Installation in Mind. Be Sure to First select a location that lends itself to applying a Load without Compromising the Integrity of the Material you affix to. Most Decorative Finishes most often do not have the Strength to Hold a Weight or Pressure without fail. Further, Think about what's underneath the exterior. Is it stronger, or will it yield to Pressure over time also? Weather Proof the Installation to Maintain the Integrity of your Home. Next consider the Location over a Lifetime of Adjustments, does it lend itself to modifications in Height or Direction? Larger Antennas increase the surface area presented to air movement, Hence, Wind-load does increase. As the length of the mast increases from Its last attached point on the structure, the torque applied in cantilever also increases with Weight and Wind-Load, requiring a more substantive attachment and Load-Bearing material. Keep the Distance Minimal from the Antenna to the TV's and Equipment you feed, as to minimize loss and the need for Amplification.
